KANSAS CITY, MO –  Red Bridge Shopping Center is excited to open its newest neighborhood bar in July 2023, The Limit Pub & Grill. The Limit will occupy the former 2,200-square-foot Daily Limit Space next to Made in KC on the north side of the center.

Having grown up in the South Kansas City area with many fond childhood memories at Red Bridge, Darrell Kidd, The Limit owner, is bringing his first dream neighborhood bar concept to life in the former Daily Limit space. As a former regular at the Daily Limit before its closing in October 2020, this storefront holds special significance to Darrell.

“I have so many memories of sitting in this exact bar years ago, dreaming about getting my hands on it and making it my own… and now I’m doing just that,” Darrell said.

The Limit will feature a fully equipped inside/outside bar, patio seating, small bite menu, and regular live music schedule to complement existing programming at the center. Their brand new, extensive build out will boast large front facing retractable windows, offering unique open-air bar seating and patio experience. While they plan to primarily draw business from the bar, their food menu will provide a new lunch and dinner destination.

“We’re eager to rebuild the loyal customer base and adapt to the neighborhood that enjoyed the previous bar, The Daily Limit, years ago,” Darrell said. “This will be a true community destination where people become regulars and meeting up here with friends becomes routine.”
