Made In KC Opening New Location at Red Bridge

KANSAS CITY, MO – Red Bridge Shopping Center is pleased to announce its newest tenant, Made in Kansas City, a premier retail destination for local goods, gifts, and apparel. Made in Kansas City will open its eleventh brick and mortar location in the roughly 1,000-square-foot space next to China Dragon and Cookies and Creamery on the north side of the center with hopes to open by September 2022.

Since 2015, Made in KC has been dedicated to promoting the makers and doers that make Kansas City so special. Beginning as a 300-square-foot pop-up shop with 14 artists, the local concept has grown to work with hundreds of artists and creatives with 10 locations spanning the metro.

“We are very excited to be a part of the Red Bridge Shopping Center and neighborhood,” said co-owner Keith Bradley. “Made in KC is Kansas City’s destination for local goods and gifts, featuring the work of over 200 local artists, makers, and designers. We anticipate to be open in September, just in time for the upcoming holiday season!”

From their Cafes to their Marketplaces, to their Neighborhood Shops, no two Made in KC locations are alike. Each location offers a different flavor of Kansas City, reflective of the unique neighborhood it serves. Made in KC spans some of the metro’s most notable retail and entertainment destinations: Prairiefire, the Country Club Plaza, Lenexa City Center, Corinth Square, and now, Red Bridge.

Since LANE4 redeveloped the center in 2016, ownership has been committed to bringing quality restaurants, shops, and service providers to the center.

“Made in KC is a perfect fit for Red Bridge as a neighborhood center that caters to a host of local tenants,” said Brandon Buckley, Vice President of LANE4. “Including Made in KC, Red Bridge is home to roughly 80% locally owned and operated businesses.”

Red Bridge’s Made in KC Neighborhood Shop will feature the work of over 200 local artists. Customers can expect to shop everything from locally made hats, to leather goods and jewelry, to Kansas City’s favorite t-shirt company, Charlie Hustle.
