KANSAS CITY, MO – Made in KC, a major retail organization where local Kansas City businesses sell their goods will be opening its eleventh Metro location in Red Bridge Shopping Center. This shop will be located in the former Salon Aspen space on the north end of the shopping center.
The retail concept started in Prairiefire in 2015, and has since grown exponentially throughout Kansas City with hundreds of artists. Their slogan, “Cultivating Creativity,” is designed to be a platform for local businesses, artists, and makers of all kinds, providing an opportunity to spread their products and wares beyond their own platforms.
Made in KC owner, Tyler Enders, was sold on Red Bridge as their new location with their familiarity with the area, the success of other local businesses in the center, and their past relationship with LANE4 Property Group, developer, leasing, and management of the shopping center.
“There are a lot of locally owned concepts there, and that’s the type of center that we’d like to be in,” said Enders.
